Help with Asparagus Recipes?

I'm not much of a cook and i was wondering if anyone had any tasty recipes with asparagus? Thanks!Help with Asparagus Recipes?
you can use asparagus as a salad veggie, just slice thin and add raw to your salad. you can bake it with some fresh garlic and olive oil till bright green, but not mushy. you can steam with a little water in a covered dish in the microwave for a few minutes or more.

wrap bundles of it in strips of veggie bacon and bake.

top with cheesy sauce or almond slivers or sunflower nuts.

roll up with other ingredients in a wheat tortilla for a healthy wrap.j

chop and add to alfredo sauce for pasta.

chop and add to omelets or quiche.Help with Asparagus Recipes?
My favorite asparagus recipe is as follows:

Preheat oven to 500 degrees Fahrenheit.

Rinse the asparagus and then bend it, holding at each end, until the tough bottom parts snap off.

Put the asparagus in a roasting/broiling pan and rub with olive oil. Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.

Roast for 8 to 10 minutes or until tender but still firm.

Serve while still warm.

You can also top with Parmesan cheese during the last couple minutes of roasting, so that it melts and becomes a crunchy, cheesy topping.
Lightly fry with butter is the most well-known way of eating it. I normally add grated raw garlic to the butter.

Remove the hard woody stalk ends and remove the stalky leaf spikes. And then fry for only a few mintues. Don't over cook.

I also like raw asparagus in salads.

Here are two websites dedicated to asparagus:

I'm not a great cook for asparagus... basically I steam and eat. Liberally. Gad I love the stuff... especially the thin ones that are almost tender before you steam them... mmmm...
