I need a killer Asparagus recipe?

I'm pan searing sushi grade Ahi Tuna. In the past, I have wrapped Asparagus in roasted sesame oil and pepper in foil and put it on the grill. It鈥檚 effin yummy. However, is there a better asparagus recipe out there? Hit me with you best.

Thank you.I need a killer Asparagus recipe?
Mix a little Miso and lime juice and brush that on the asparagus and then grill them with olive oil.

The best ever.I need a killer Asparagus recipe?
steam the asparagus, wrap it in thinly sliced proscuito and throw it under the broiler for a minute or 2 to crisp the edges of the proscuito
we like it at our house marinated lightly in a raspberry vinaigrette and then you can put it in a foil pouch and cook it on the grill when you make the tuna
My favorite is steamed asparagus, dressed with olive oil, lemon juice, lemon zest (long strips make a nice presentation), and a bit of salt and feshly ground pepper.
ignore these lot i am a professional chef so here we go... this is a asparagus and beef involtini ... you bat out a piece of fillet steak really thin then season with salt and pepper and thyme leafs.. then shave with a peeler on some gruyere cheese then add 3 tender blanched asparagus spears in the middle and roll up the beef.. then wrap the beef parcel in a single piece of parma ham... serve on a salad with a dressing made of 1 part raspberry puree to 1 part white wine vinegar to 4 parts olive oil and whisk together,... bow chickka waw waw from
Asparagus Risotto

2 lb of asparagus.

1 shallot, chopped finely.

3 陆 oz of vialone rice.

2 oz of butter.

1 cup of dry white wine.

4 tablespoons of freshly grated parmesan cheese.

Salt and pepper.

Break the ends off the asparagus stalks and discard.

Cut off the extreme tips and chop the rest of the stalks.

Blanch the tips in boiling water.

Remove the tips with a slotted spoon and set aside.

Cook the stalks in the same water until they go soft.

In a blender, puree the stalks with their cooking water to make a thick stock.

Add dry white wine, and simmer over a low heat.

In a pan, melt half of the butter and cook the shallot until it turns soft.

Add the rice to the pan and let it begin to absorb the butter before adding a ladle of the asparagus stock. Keep stirring until it is absorbed.

Stir in the tips and add another ladle of stock. Keep adding the stock, one ladle at a time, making certain not to drown the rice, until the rice is al dente (takes 15-20 mins).

Serve as desired.

ASPARAGUS IN PUFF PASTRY

2 cups water

24 fresh asparagus spears

(about 1 pound), trimmed

8 oz. pkg. cream cheese

1/2 tsp. salt

1 pkg. (17-1/4 ounces) frozen puff pastry dough, thawed

1/4 cup egg substitute

In a large nonstick skillet, bring water to a boil. Add asparagus; cover and cook for 3 minutes. Drain asparagus and immediately place in ice water; drain and pat dry. In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and salt until smooth; set aside. Unfold the dough on a lightly floured surface. Cut each sheet in half widthwise. For each rectangle, spread cream cheese mixture lengthwise over half of the dough to within 1/2-inch of edges. Arrange two rows of three asparagus spears lengthwise in a single layer over cream cheese. Brush edges of dough with some of the egg substitute; fold dough over filling and press edges together to seal. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour. Cut widthwise into 1-1/4-in. pieces. Place 1-inch apart on a baking sheet coated with nonstick cooking spray. Brush with remaining egg substitute. Bake at 425掳 for 8 to12 minutes or until golden. Serve warm. Yield: 28
Grilled asparagus is awesome, but it might be better simmered in butter and garlic. What isn't better simmered in butter and garlic?
love asparagus!!! however, there are only 2 ways i do it...

wrap a bundle in bacon and cook in the oven, or grill(wrapped in foil with a tad of oil) and the other is pan sear with lemon butter... you are a way better cook than i, so im sure this didnt help, but you asked! (ps the bacon wrapped bundles are awesome!!!)
The best is usually the simplest.

Steam the asparagus and serve with Mayonaise.
