What recipes I can do with canned Asparagus?

I never tried Asparagus before... I got them in the can... any ideas?What recipes I can do with canned Asparagus?
cream of asparagus soup:





saute on a pan with olive oil,1 fresh garlic/1/2 small diced onion


until vegetables are soft, then


add 1 can of asparagus


1/2 cup chicken broth


1 tsp thyme


2tbs white wine


1/4 cup of cream let it simmer for 10 minutes the add to blender until is a smooth cream enjoy it with some garlic toastWhat recipes I can do with canned Asparagus?
I really like filling a pinata with the lovely green vegetable then smacking it with a baby fetus until the asparagus falls out and then I cook it with said fetus until a light brown. YUM!

Oh, canned is not a good way to experience Asparagus for the first time....It is very good but be ware that it is much better fresh and steamed.


Steamed with Butter and Hollandaise sauce, sprinkled with grated parm cheese, is the best way to eat it.
If you have never had asparagus before please do not eat it out of the can. It will taste all mushy and gross. Try the real thing it's delicious and tender yet crisp. But to answer your question on what to do with the can you have.......feed it to your baby if you have one. Thats what I do. It easily smashes to a puree texture.
Oh I am right with everyone else, PLEASE DO NOT EAT Asparagus out of the can. It would be an awful way to eat it for the first time. It's so nasty out of a can! Go to the grocery store and buy fresh!
all i do is put some butter on them and microwave until hot. YUM!
I love canned asparagus. I never had any luck with fresh. You heat it and put some mayo on after you put a serving on your dinner plate. Serve it cold, same way. The small spears are better than the long ones, unless you get the very expensive ones. If you don't like mayo, use a cheese sauce, a hollendaise, any other dressing you like, or butter. Use what ever your taste buds go for.
I love canned asparagus rolls.


Butter a slice of fresh bread (I prefer white), add a few spears and roll up.


Remove crusts to make the easy to roll.
