Cut chicken breasts into bite size pieces , season with salt and pepper then brown well in butter. Put the chicken in a slow cooker. Saute a pound of chopped mushrooms then add to the chicken and stir them up. Steam asparagus spears til med tender then lay them over chicken. Over all of this put 1 large can of cream of mushroom soup and about 1/2 can of water. Put on the lid and cook for about 3 hours and serve over fettuccine noodles and have some fresh Parmesan cheese ready for those who want some. Voila!!!!I'm looking for a recipe that has chicken,mushrooms, asparagus in cream sauce served over pasta?
YES! I know this recipe! My grandmother gave it to me..It uses heavy cream as the sauce! Just cook each one, and blanch the asparagus at the end of the pasta cooking and toss together. Be sure to cook the cream in a pan until it is thick and bubbly, salt pepper and a little nutmeg.
